The Wright “B” Flyer museum and hangar will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2019 for the observance of Independence Day. The facility will reopen on Saturday, July 6, 2019 for normal operating hours (9:00 am to 2:30 pm).
The Wright “B” Flyer, Inc. will be closed for the Christmas holidays. We will be closed from Thursday, December 22, 2018 through Wednesday, January 2, 2019. We will reopen for normal operating hours on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Our normal operating hours are 9:00 am until 2:30 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The Wright “B” Flyer Inc. museum will be closed for Thanksgiving observance on Thursday, November 22, 2018 and on Saturday, November 24, 2018. The museum will reopen on Tuesday, November 27 for normal operating hours and days.
It is with regret that we inform you that former Wright “B” Flyer and Board of Trustees Chairman Phil Beaudoin passed away over the weekend of November 10 – 11. Phil had been living in the St. George, Utah area since leaving the leadership position of the Wright “B” Flyer inc. His memorial service will be Saturday, November 24, 2018, 11:30 am at the New Promise Lutheran Church, 244 S. Valley View, St. George, Utah. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations go to “Southern Utah Veterans Home”, 160 N 200E, Ivins, Utah 84738.
The Wright “B” Flyer Hangar will close at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 22 for a private event. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 25.
Wright “B” Flyer, Inc. will put the Valentine Flyer on Static Display at For Sam Houston on May 5 and 6, 2018. This aircraft, shown here, is a near replica for the first military aircraft that the Wright Brothers delivered to the US Army Signal Corps in 1909. It was built in the 1970s by Tom and Nancy Valentine who were living in California at that time.
