Wright “B” Flyer Inc. is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. We get our funding from memberships, sales of merchandise and engraved bricks, revenue from “Leader in Flight” Ohio license plate fees, individual donations and sponsorships.

Become a member
Membership fees support our operations, and members keep up with our activities through our quarterly newsletter. Honorary Aviators get a free orientation flight. Become a volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers. We especially need aircraft mechanics and crew chiefs. But we also need people who can help with our website and social media, fundraising and business, and general office administration. Become a sponsor
Wright “B” Flyer is looking for one or more sponsors interested in attaching their brands to a worthy cause that brings to life the aviation heritage of Dayton, Ohio, and the USA. Wright “B” Flyer has displayed or demonstrated its aircraft at premiere aviation venues across the U.S. and abroad, among them EAA AirVenture, NBAA’s National Convention, the Paris Air Show, Farnborough International Air Show, and more. We have given orientation flights to senior Air Force leaders, members of Congress, corporate executives and foreign officials.  Contact us to discuss specific sponsorship opportunities.

Get a “Leader in Flight” license plate
The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicle offers a special “Leader in Flight” license plate. Approximately one-third of our operating funds comes from the sale of these special plates. Ohioans, show your pride in our aviation heritage and remind others that the Wright brothers invented powered flight in Ohio! Buy an Engraved Brick
For a $100 contribution, you can have your name or the name of someone you wish to honor engraved on a brick. These engraved bricks line the entrance sidewalk to the Wright “B” Flyer museum and hangar. To order an engraved brick, download our order form.
